The details of the OnePlus Ace 5 lineup comprising the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro have been leaked several times in the past.
As the launch date draws closer, the manufacturer has now revealed that the Pro variant will house a dedicated chip that will enhance the gaming experience.
According to the manufacturer, the Ace 5 Pro will house an e-sports WiFi chip G1 which is exclusively intended to support gaming networks. This chip will help users enjoy a seamless gaming experience because the average delay of the game will not be more than 50 ms even when there is no full signal.

Even as the signal has to bypass three walls, the processor in the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will ensure that the LA and average game latency are lower by 60% and 30.2% respectively when compared to other chipsets. The network speed will be 50% more than other handsets when the same Wi-Fi network has many smartphone connections.
The e-sports chip will be developed in-house by the manufacturer along with a game cloud computing private network and an e-sports antenna system.
Expected OnePlus Ace5 Pro Specs
The Ace 5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC along with a Fengchi Game Core. The handset will incorporate an IP 65 protection rating, three microphone arrays featuring AI noise-reduction technology, and a two-sided crystal shield glass.

It has been confirmed by the manufacturer that the smartphone will come with ColorOS 15 installed out of the box and feature Dolby Vision Video playback. The handset will come in three color options Submarine Black, White Moon Porcelain, and Starry Sky Purple. It will have a weight of 203 g and a thickness of 8.1 mm.
The OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will break cover in China a few days from now on the 26th of December 2024.
