Following the launch of its OnePlus 13, the manufacturer OnePlus has now shifted its focus towards the Ace 5 lineup as its next release.
Several leaks have come up about the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in the past. A new leak now shares details about the battery capacities of these two smartphones along with a third Ace 5V handset in the series. Interestingly, the same leak also talks about the battery capacities of the next Ace 6 lineup as well.
Ace 5 Series Battery Details
According to the tipoff by Digital Chat Station, the Ace 5 will be powered by a 6300 mAh +/- battery. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro will be equipped with a slightly bigger battery with a 6500 mAh +/- capacity. The Ace 5V will have the smallest battery with a capacity of 6150 mAh+/-.
Irrespective of the battery capacity, all handsets in the Ace 5 series will offer support for 100 W wired fast charging.
Ace 6 Series Battery Details
The Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro are speculated to have a battery of the same size that is bigger than the ones in the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. The battery is speculated to have a rated capacity of 6850 mAh and a typical capacity of 7000 mAh. In contrast, the battery of the Ace 6V will be smaller than that of its predecessor and have a rated capacity of 5640 mAh and a typical capacity of 5750 mAh. The charging details of the smartphones are unclear at this point.
The OnePlus Ace 5 is slated to be launched towards the end of this month or the beginning of next month while the Ace 5 Pro may see the light of the day towards the middle of 2025. In the earlier lineup, the Ace 2V and Ace 3V were released before the Pro variants. The manufacturer may follow the same trend and launch the Ace 5V before the Ace 5 Pro. The Ace 5 and Ace 5V may arrive globally as the OnePlus 13 R and OnePlus Nord 5.
