OnePlus is working on setting the stage for its upcoming flagship OnePlus Ace 6 series.
The lineup is expected to be mid-range smartphones and include the OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro. A new leak has now surfaced with some key details about the series.
The leak appears in the form of a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. Although the post does not mention the name of any specific handset, the details mentioned indicate that it is the Ace 6 series lineup that is being referenced.
Rumored Ace 6 Series Specs
Under the hood, the lineup will be powered by a processor from the Snapdragon 8 series.

Even though the exact name is not mentioned, it is anticipated that the Ace 6 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas the Ace 6 Pro will house the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. For now, the RAM and storage details remain unclear.
The series will come with flat OLED panels. These panels will have a size of 6.83 inches, an ultra-high refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a resolution of 1.5K. They will also encompass 3D in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensors for security purposes.
The Ace 6 lineup will also have bigger batteries than the earlier Ace 5 series. In an earlier post, the same tipster stated that the smartphones will incorporate a huge 7,800 mAh battery.

The series will have a metal frame in the middle for improved durability. However, it is unknown for now whether the handsets will feature an IP68 rating.
The OnePlus Ace 6 series is expected to arrive in the Chinese market shortly after the brand’s OnePlus 15. While the latter is likely to break cover in October with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, the Ace 6 series is slated to see the light of day in December.
