OnePlus is working on setting the stage for its next set of Nord smartphones, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5.
A new leak by a tipster shares interesting insights on the processor, battery, and body material of the two handsets. The OnePlus Nord CE 5 has been listed on the TDRA platform, which reveals it will find its way to the UAE market.
Rumored Nord 5, Nord CE 5 Specs
The leak mentioned above has appeared as a post on the popular X platform by a tipster Yogesh Brar, who has shared details of other smartphones as well in the past.
According to the post, the Nord 5 will be associated with the codename Lexus. On the other hand, the Nord CE 5 will reflect the codename Honda.

The OnePlus Nord 5 CE will be powered by a Dimensity 9400e chipset from MediaTek. In contrast, the Nord CE 5 will house a Dimensity 8350 processor under its hood. An earlier report mentions that the CE handset will have a Dimensity 8400 or a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip.
The two handsets will have a fully plastic body. However, they will not share the same design and we can expect to see some distinct changes in this department.
As for the battery, both smartphones will house a huge 7,000 mAh battery. Interestingly, the Nord CE 5 was earlier reported to draw its juice from a slightly bigger 7,100 mAh battery.

The OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will have different launch dates. They will compete with handsets from various manufacturers. These include the Poco F7, Oppo K13 Turbo, Moto Edge 60 Pro, and iQOO Neo 10R.
While the iQOO and Motorola handsets have been launched, the Oppo and Poco smartphones are getting ready for their release.
