The Poco X7 series comprising the Poco X7 and X7 Pro have been in the news in the past few weeks with some insights about the two smartphones.
Two new leaks about the Poco X7 series phones now share some interesting specifications just a few days ahead of their launch.
Expected Specs
Going by the tipoff from Paras Guglani on the popular X platform, Both handsets will come with AMOLED displays of 6.67 inches size. However, while the base variant offers HDR10+ support, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a resolution of 1.5K; the Pro variant will feature a touch sampling rate of 2560 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3200 nits.

Under the hood, the base variant will come with a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset while the Pro variant will have a Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor.

Both variants will have a maximum of 12 GB RAM and virtual RAM as well 512 GB storage. The lineup will come with Android 15 layered with the manufacturer’s HyperOS 15 installed out of the box.
The Poco X7 will have two cameras comprising a 50 MP snapper and an 8 MP snapper on the back plus a front camera with a 20 MP resolution.
On the other hand, the X7 Pro will have a 50 MP primary camera with OIS support and a Sony IMX882 sensor along with support for 4K video recording at 60 fps. There will be no change to the selfie camera.

The X7 will draw its juice from a 5,110 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. In contrast, the X7 Pro will feature a 6,000 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging support.
The Poco X7 and X7 Pro are expected to break cover in multiple markets across the globe at the same time. The series is slated to be launched in January 2025.
