Pokemon Gen 10 Map Leak Unveils Details About Game’s Setting

Pokemon Gen 10 map leak

According to a leaker, the next Pokémon game will be set in a location inspired by the Cyclades.

A while back, one heard about Pokémon Gen 10 getting a launch on both the original Switch and Switch 2. Now, a new map leak has given one an idea about the setting of the Pokemon Gen 10 game. This leak has come from Centro Leaks, known for being quite reliable and accurate as far as leaks are concerned.

Pokémon Gen 10 has been going through the development process under the codename Gaia. According to a post put up by Centro Leaks on X, Cyclades will serve as the setting for the game. The post by the leaker does not mean that Cyclades will ‘actually’ serve as the setting for Pokémon Gen 10. What this means is that the game’s setting will be based on or inspired by the Cyclades.

If the Pokemon Gen 10 map leak turns out to be accurate, one should expect to see a lot of water in the game. In the past, one has seen that many Pokémon fans have not been too enthusiastic about water travel. Travelling by water has caused a lot of inconveniences to fans in the past and that is the reason why many were hoping for the next mainline Pokémon game to avoid water bodies.

Some fans would be aware of the fact that Cyclades happens to be a collection of around 30 Greek islands based in the Aegan Sea. Keeping this in mind, one can assume that there will be a connection between Pokémon Gen 10 and Greece. This, in turn, could have an impact on the Pokémon in the game.

For a long time, there have been intense discussions about the setting of the next Pokémon game on online communities. It must be mentioned here that the aforementioned information has been put forward by a leaker. The developers have maintained silence over it till now.
