With just a few weeks to go before the launch of the Realme 14 Pro series, the manufacturer has started sending out teasers about the lineup that is slated to include the Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+.
Earlier the manufacturer had shared partial details about the processor and camera setup in the two smartphones. A new leak now talks about the handsets featuring a new cold-sensitive color technology. This Realme 14 Pro series leak also reveals their front and back renders.
Cold-Sensitive Color Changing Technology
This technology will be incorporated in smartphones by Realme in its 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ smartphones. The manufacturer has collaborated with Valeur Designers, a well-known industrial design studio to introduce this technology in its handsets.

The Realme 14 Pro series will encompass thermochromic pigments which get activated when there is a fluctuation in temperature. The color of the back panel transitions from a pearl white color to a vibrant blue shade when the temperature drops to below 16 °C. When the temperature rises, the color reverses automatically.
Expected Realme 14 Pro Series Specifications
As the top-end variant of the series, the Realme 14 Pro+ will have an AMOLED quad-curved display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5 K.
The Realme 14 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset under its hood while the Realme 14 Pro+ will draw its power from a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The 14 Pro will come in two RAM options of 8 GB and 12 GB and will also offer two storage choices of 256 GB and 512 GB based on the RAM variant chosen.
According to the Camera FV-5 listing, the 14 Pro will have a main snapper with a resolution of 50 MP and a selfie camera with a resolution of 16 MP. On the other hand, as confirmed by the manufacturer, the 14 Pro+ will feature a periscope telephoto camera with a Sony IMX82 or LYT-600 sensor and 3x optical zoom apart from a main snapper with 50 MP resolution and OIS support and an ultra-wide lens with an 8 MP resolution.
Although the battery capacities are not known, their 3C certification listings reveal that the Realme 14 Pro will support 45 W wired fast charging and 80 W wired rapid charging respectively.
The Realme 14 Pro series is slated to be launched towards the end of January next year and is likely to arrive in many countries across the world on the 21st of the month.
