As smartphone manufacturers have started focusing on a China launch of sub-flagship offerings, Realme has jumped the bandwagon by shifting its attention to the Realme GT Neo 7 which will be the latest addition to its GT Neo lineup.
According to the latest Weibo post by Xu Qi, Global Marketing President and Vice President of the company, Realme will begin releasing teasers of an upcoming Neo smartphone from next week. Although he has remained tight-lipped about the name of the handset, it is likely that the handset he is referring to is the Realme GT Neo 7. Additionally, a tipster has also shared details about the battery and thickness of the handset.
Battery Capacity
Going by a post by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the GT Neo 7 will have a battery with a massive capacity of 7,000 mAh. This capacity is in line with a statement made earlier by another tipster about an upcoming smartphone with the same battery capacity. The battery is expected to last for two days straight without charging. The handset has been listed on China’s 3C platform with the model number RMX5060 and support for 80 W fast charging.
Other Details
Although the screen size of the GT Neo 7 is unknown, the smartphone is expected to have a big screen with an OLED panel that has a resolution of 1.5K. The handset is anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version offered by Qualcomm. This processor is an overclocked variant of the popular Snapdragon 8 processor.
