Despite being a 7-year-old game, Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to surprise fans!
Designed as a prequel to the 2010-released Red Dead Redemption, RDR 2 served as the former’s prequel and was the third entry in the gaming series. While the average playtime for RDR 2 is 50 hours for the primary story, those who complete it end up spending 188 hours.
Those who have played RDR 2 all these years might be of the belief that they have discovered all that the game has to offer. However, this is one game that never ceases to surprise fans. The game seemed to have a hidden gameplay feature which most fans missed out on seeing despite playing the game for a long time.

Since there is no indication of when Red Dead Redemption 3 will come out, fans continue to remain hooked to RDR 2. Because of this, fans continue to stumble upon secrets, features and Easter Eggs in the game.
Now, the discovery of a hidden gameplay feature, featuring a horse and a boat, has taken fans by surprise.

As per a claim made by a Reddit user named rrennzzo, Arthur has the option of taking a horse on a boat with him. This turned out to be one of those features which no fan tried till date.

When you cross a large body of water, you will not have to re-summon your horse. This feature, therefore, adds a sense of realism to the game.
As soon as this post was up for Reddit, many Red Dead Redemption 2 players responded positively to it. Many said they wish they had known about this feature earlier. Some fans stated that they would use it the next time they played the game.
