While fans continue to hope for the arrival of Red Dead Redemption 3, they wish for it to be a little different than the earlier games in the franchise.
It is common knowledge that most of Rockstar Games’ energies are channeled towards getting Grand Theft Auto 6 ready for a release this year. Though GTA 6 occupies most of the time of the developers at Rockstar, the studio has not lost sight of its other titles.
Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 will release in the fall of 2025. While there is a lot of excitement around the game, the gaming community also wants the studio to start working towards developing other games and IPs. Once GTA 6 is out, gamers would start looking forward to the next big title.

Based on the chatter happening in online communities, one would assume that there is a huge demand for a new entry in the Red Dead Redemption series.
While fans would be happy to see a Red Dead Redemption 3 being launched, one also expects them to be content with a standalone title. Red Dead Revolver, a standalone title launched in 2004, received a lot of appreciation from fans.
Those who have been lobbying for a RDR 3 are of the opinion that the setting of the game should be completely different from the kind the earlier games in the franchise had.
While many fans have been wishing for the next game in the franchise to feature new characters, a fresh setting is something everybody hopes for.

Fans have been coming up with suggestions for the kind of setting Red Dead Redemption 3 should have. While some feel the new setting should have some connection with the ones we came across in the older games, some believe Rockstar could experiment and come up with something that ends up surprising the fans completely.
Though nothing about the game is certain about at the moment, Rockstar might take note of some of the feedback and get it incorporated.
