The much-awaited Red Dead Redemption 3 has the potential to shed light on the characters of Red Harlow and Uncle and inform fans whether they are truly the one and the same!

Though many fans might not acknowledge it, Red Dead Revolver was, technically, the first game in the franchise. Developed by Rockstar San Diego, the game was launched on Xbox and PlayStation 2 in 2004. The single-player game was set in the 1880s and showcased bounty hunter Red Harlow vying for revenge.
In a lot of ways, Red Dead Redemption 2 has taken the legacy of Red Dead Revolver forward. Since a very long time, one has been coming across discussions about theories that link characters existing in different games. A large section of fans believe that Uncle could be an older Red Harlow.
When somebody asks the fans what makes them believe in this theory, they point towards age alignment as evidence. When the events in Red Dead Redemption 2 are taking place, Uncle comes across as a 50 year old. At the time of Red Dead Revolver, Red Harlow’s age would be around 30 years. Since Red Dead Redemption 2 is set 20 years after Red Dead Revolver, a lot of fans are quite sure that Uncle and Red Harlow are one and the same person.
These speculations were fuelled further when Uncle made some cryptic remarks. Losing one’s parents at an early age and going through several difficulties as an orphan are things which both Uncle and Red Harlow have experienced.

One has stumbled upon theories suggesting that there is a possibility of the game focusing on characters like Charles Smith and Sadie Adler. Many fans are of the belief that the developers should make an attempt to dive deep into some of the elements from the past through the game.
If the developers choose to explore Harlow’s story from a fresh perspective in Red Dead Redemption 3, players would get a sense of novelty. The games in the franchise have covered multiple decades across their timeline and that, in turn, has lent a sense of dynamism to it.
