Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is working on the launch of its Redmi K80 lineup in December.
The series includes the standard Redmi K80, K80 Pro, and K80 Ultra. Various details have been made available about the K80 and K80 Pro in the past few days.
A piece of recent news has now surfaced highlighting some key details about the cameras featured in the smartphone.
Camera Specifications
According to the XiaomiTime report, the handset will have three cameras on its back panel. The main camera will be an OmniVision Light Hunter OVX8000 sensor with a 50 MP resolution. This shooter will help in delivering sharper shots and superior performance in low-lighting situations.
The other two cameras will be a Samsung ISOCELL S5KKD1 ultra-wide angle sensor with a 32 MP resolution and a Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN5 telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and a 50 MP resolution. The ultra-wide angle sensor will assist in capturing wide landscapes and scenes perfectly while the telephoto sensor will help in capturing distant objects clearly.
On the front, there will be an Omnvision OV20B40 snapper for high-quality video calls and selfies.
Other Redmi K80 Pro Specifications
The smartphone will have a 6.67-inch OLED TCL display with a flat design, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 2K resolution. It is also anticipated that there will be an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The K80 Pro is slated to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm under the hood along with a maximum of 16 GB RAM as well as 1 TB of storage.

The handset will come with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 with customizable interface options and a fast response time. The smartphone is speculated to be packed with a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 100 W wired charging and wireless charging.
The Redmi K80 Pro is anticipated to arrive in December in China and later on as the POCO F7 Ultra in the global market.
