The K80 Ultra and K Pad have been hitting the headlines on and off.
Earlier news referenced the Redmi K80 Ultra tablet as a compact gaming tablet. However, the most recent news now mentions the name of the slate as the Redmi K Pad. The same report also shares life-like images of the smartphone.
Redmi K80 Ultra
The K80 Ultra will be the top-end variant in the Redmi K80 series that also includes the K80 and K80 Pro. It is designed to function as a performance-oriented handset. The smartphone is slated to be powered by a Dimensity 9400+ processor from MediaTek under its hood. It is also expected to draw its juice from a humongous battery with a capacity of 7,400 mAh and 120 W fast charging.

Additionally, Marketing Head Wang Teng Thomas announced recently that the smartphone will house an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. This means that the sensor will work with oily fingers as well. He has also declared that the handset will offer multiple upgrades in various areas such as design, display, sound quality, and haptics.
Redmi K Pad
The K Pad will be a flagship tablet with a special focus on gaming. The slate is anticipated to give the iPad Mini a run for its money. It is likely to be equipped with a LCD panel from CSOT. The display will support a size of 8.8 inches and have a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a resolution of 3K, and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The tablet is expected to house a Dimensity 9400+ processor that makes it the most powerful slate from the brand to date. While the battery size is unclear at the moment, it will support bypass charging and 67 W fast charging.
The manufacturer is anticipated to host a launch event in China towards the end of this month to release its offerings. The Redmi K80 Ultra will compete with the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and the iQOO Neo 10 Pro+ and be priced at around 3,000 Yuan or USD 420.
