Redmi is actively working on the Redmi K80 Ultra, its next flagship.
The K80 Ultra will join the K80 and K80 Pro in the K80 lineup. A new leak has now emerged talking about the battery housed in the smartphone although its name has not been explicitly mentioned.
K80 Ultra Battery Details
The post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station hints at the battery size of the Redmi K80 Ultra. While the charging details have not been revealed, the handset is expected to have a staggering 7000 mAh+ battery with 100 W fast charging support.

This battery size is way bigger than the 6,550 mAh battery with support for 90 W charging in the K80 and the 6,000 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast charging in the K80 Ultra. If the tipoff turns out to be true, then the K80 Ultra is bound to offer a significant upgrade in battery life.
Other Expected Specifications
The leak additionally mentions that the smartphone will have a metal frame in the middle. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor under its hood. The handset will have a straight screen with a resolution of 1.5K and an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. This screen will be an OLED panel that is ultra-narrow on all sides.
Other reports suggest that the K80 Ultra will comprise 12 GB RAM and offer storage of up to 256 GB. It will run on Android 15 topped with the manufacturer’s HyperOS.

There will be three 50 MP cameras and an LED flash unit on the back while the front will have a single 50 MP camera.
The brand launched the predecessor K70 Ultra last year in July. If the manufacturer adopts the same trend, we can hope Redmi to set the stage for the Redmi K80 Ultra in July 2025.
