The Redmi Pad 2 4G tablet by Xiaomi’s sub-brand has now been spotted on the TDRA Certification database with its model number 2505DRP06G.
The listing does not reveal any details about the Redmi Pad 2 tablet. However, the G at the end of the model number indicates that the slate will be launched globally and the TDRA listing confirms a UAE release.
The tablet has earlier been listed on the European EEC certification and BIS certification databases as well.

The Wi-Fi variant has also been certified by the Singapore-based IMDA authority and found its way on the FCC database with a few design and specifications.
Redmi Pad2 (Wi-Fi) Details
The Wi-Fi and 4G variants of the Redmi Pad 2 are likely to share the same specifications. The Wi-Fi slate has a 10.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
There is a pill-shaped camera module at the back with a single 8 MP shooter. On the front, there is an 8 MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
For the processor, the Realme Pad 2 houses a MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core chipset. The tablet supports 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options and 128 GB of storage. There is also a dedicated slot to insert a memory card.
The tablet draws its juice from an 8000 mAh battery. This battery offers support for 18 W fast charging.

The Redmi Pad 2 comes with its power button and a couple of speaker grilles on the side at its top. It features support for Bluetooth connectivity.
The smartphone runs on Android 15 that will be overlaid with the manufacturer’s most recent HyperOS 2.1.
The Redmi Pad 2 is anticipated to be the successor of the Redmi Pad that broke cover in 2022 as a mid-range tablet.
