Redmi Pad 2 Specs and Pricing Revealed; Global Launch Soon

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is all set to launch its media-focused compact Redmi Pad 2 in a few days from now.

Termed as a binge buddy by the brand, the tablet will be available in 4G and Wi-Fi only variants and both variants have bagged the BIS certification, indicating an India launch. With an imminent launch, the brand has started teasing the specs and design of the slate on the popular X platform through their mi handle.

The tablet will feature an IPS LCD panel sized at 11 inches. The display will have a resolution of 2K, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Under the hood, the slate will house a Helio G100 Ultra processor from MediaTek. This will be complemented by 4 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM and the device will run on Android 15 layered with the manufacturer’s HyperOS. Storage options will be 128 GB and 256 GB.

In the camera department, the Redmi Pad 2 will encompass an 8 MP camera on the back panel and a 5 MP camera in the front.

The tablet will house a 9,000 mAh battery with extended battery life and support for 18 W wired charging. In the European market, the slate will not be accompanied by a charger.

Design Details

The tablet will have four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. It will also comprise a headphone jack and a microSD slot. The lightweight slate will be available in two color choices of Black/Gray and Mint Green.

Online listings by a European retailer indicate that the Wi-Fi only model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will be priced at EUR 199.

On the other hand, the 4G model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will carry a price tag of EUR 299.

The Redmi Pad 2 will break cover in a couple of days from now, on June 5.
