Redmi Turbo 4 Render

The Redmi Turbo 4 was in the news recently mentioning a delayed launch of the performance-oriented smartphone.

Even as the wait for the handset extends, a new image of Redmi Turbo 4 has now come up on a popular China-based social media platform giving us an insight into the design details.

The image posted on Weibo shows the front and back panels of the smartphone. From what can be seen, the handset appears to have a punch-hole cutout in the front for its selfie camera.

The smartphone has two cameras on the back. It is surrounded by symmetrical and slim bezels with squared-off edges that make it closely resemble the Galaxy S24.

Expected Specifications

The handset will have a flat display with a resolution of 1.5K. The smartphone will house a decently sized battery of 6000 mAh capacity. The 3C certification listing of the Turbo 4 has already confirmed that the battery will support rapid wired charging of 90 W. It will be powered by the upcoming octa-core Dimensity 8400 chipset from MediaTek.

Redmi usually offers the Turbo smartphones as a China-exclusive release. However, the manufacturer launched the predecessor Redmi Turbo 3 with a rebranding as the POCO F6 for the global market this year. If this trend continues, we can expect to see the Turbo 4 in the international market as the POCO F7.

The actual reason for the delayed launch is unclear. However, it is speculated that the Redmi Turbo 4 will debut in China in January 2025 with a price tag ranging between USD 205 and USD 275. It is likely that a Pro variant will soon follow and if so, the Turbo 4 Pro is anticipated to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Elite processor from Qualcomm under its hood.

Meanwhile, as the image leak is not from any of the usual trustworthy sources, it is best to consider the design details with a pinch of salt.
