The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro has been in the news for some time now with details about various specifications.
This has now been followed by a post mentioning the processor of the smartphone on Weibo by the manufacturer’s General Manager Wang Teng Thomas.
The post does not reveal the name of any smartphone. However, it does mention that the handset will have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

There is also a statement that a new handset from Redmi is on the way with this processor. This is likely to be the Turbo 4 Pro. If so, this will be the first smartphone to come with this processor.
In response to a comment on his post asking if the handset will break cover in April, Thomas has replied in the affirmative.
Expected Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Specs
The smartphone will have two cameras on the back panel. These will be a primary camera and an ultra-wide lens with resolutions of 50 MP and 8 MP, respectively. The primary shooter will offer support for OIS.

The Turbo 4 Pro will have an OLED LTPS 6.83-inch display panel with a resolution of 1.5K. There will also be an in-screen optical fingerprint scanner.
The handset will be packed with a huge 7,550 mAh battery. This battery will support 90 W fast charging.
The smartphone will have an IP 68/69-rated body, ensuring its water and dust resistance. It will have a metal frame in the center.
While the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be a China-exclusive launch, the handset will arrive as the Poco F7 outside the country with a rebranding.
The Turbo 4 Pro will not be the only smartphone from the brand with the mentioned chipset. Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO will also use the same processor in its z10 Turbo Pro.
