Redmi is reported to be working on releasing a Turbo smartphone this month in China after launching the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro in the home country.
This announcement was made by the company’s General Manager Wang Teng Thomas on a video platform. He has used the term Little Tornado which is anticipated to be the codename for the Redmi Turbo series, which includes Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro.
Expected Redmi Turbo 4 Specifications
The Redmi Turbo 4 is said to be the base variant smartphone and the other handset is the Turbo 4 Pro.

Going by reports of the past, the Turbo 4 will come with an OLED flat panel with a resolution of 1.5K. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a Dimensity 8400 chipset with over 3 GHz clock speed and a Cortex-A725 architecture. This will be the first handset to be equipped with this processor from MediaTek. The RAM and storage details are yet to be known. According to the 3C certification details, the smartphone will be equipped with a battery that offers 90 W fast charging support.
There are also talks that the Turbo 4 Pro will follow the Turbo 4 in China in the coming year. It is said that this handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Elite processor from Qualcomm.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is expected to arrive in China as a typical midrange smartphone with a price ranging between USD 205 and USD 275.
The Turbo handsets may be available in the global market with a POCO rebranding. If so, the Turbo 4 is likely to arrive outside the home country as the POCO X7. On the other hand, the Turbo 4 Pro may be released worldwide as the POCO F7.
