Samsung is busy rolling out its 2024 September and October security patch updates for several smartphones across the globe.
The updates can be installed, in most cases, through the System update section of the Settings app of the smartphone. They can also be downloaded and installed using a Windows PC.
Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra
After the manufacturer made the October 2024 security update available for its Galaxy S24 FE, the update is now available for the Galaxy S24 lineup. It is now available for AT&T and a few other carrier-locked models in the United States. Unlocked handsets and other carrier models along with handsets in other countries are likely to receive the update soon.
The build number of the security patch ends with AXI1 and focuses on 12 issues related to Galaxy devices and 30 issues on Android.
Galaxy Z Flip 5
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones in Europe have started receiving the October 2024 security patch update associated with the build number F731BXXS3DXI9.

The security patch addresses 12 issues affecting Galaxy devices a vulnerability on some Exynos-powered handsets, and 42 software security vulnerabilities.
Galaxy A13
The Galaxy A13 has started receiving the October 2024 security update with the build number A13FXXS9EXI2 in a few Asian markets like Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The update may be released globally and in the 5G models in a few weeks from now.
Galaxy Z Fold 3
While many smartphones are receiving the October 2024 security patch update, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has just started getting the September 2024 security patch. This patch is available for smartphones with the SM-F926U, SM-F926B, SM-F926UN, and SM-F926U1 model numbers.
The security patch update addresses 67 security vulnerabilities and keeps the smartphone safe against various threats like cyberattacks.
Galaxy Z Flip 3
Like the Z Fold 3, the September 2024 security patch has just started rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 across the world. This update can be installed on smartphones associated with the model numbers SM-F711B (international), SM-F711N (Korea), SM-F711U1 (factory-unlocked USA), and SM-F711U (factory-locked USA)

Galaxy A33 5G
Samsung has started offering the September 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy A33 5G. The smartphones with the model numbers SM-A336B, SM-A336M, and SM-A336E have begun receiving the update. The firmware for the SM-A336B model is associated with the build number A336BXXSAEXI8 while the firmware for the SM-A336B has the A336EDXSAEXI8
