Samsung has now officially launched its flagship Galaxy S25 series which includes Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.
During the event, the South Korean smartphone giant also teased a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge but didn’t leave a clue regarding its availability or official release date.
Just a day later, we have spotted the smartphone with model number SM-S9370 on China’s CCC certification website. Given the fact that the phone has now started receiving certifications, it’s pretty clear that the launch is not too far away.
Model numbers of Galaxy S25 Series
Galaxy S25 has the model number SM-S931 while Galaxy S25+ has SM-S936 and Galaxy S25 Ultra has SM-S938 as their model numbers. The new model, SM-S9370, would most likely belong to the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone, which was teased by Samsung.

The 3C certification has confirmed that the phone will support 25W fast charging support. However, users should know by now that Samsung has stopped adding chargers to the box for retail buyers. So this shouldn’t come as a surprise for buyers of Samsung flagships.
Galaxy S25 Edge Release Date
In order to predict the release date of Galaxy S25 Edge, we have to see when the other phones in the S25 series were certified by CCC website. Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra were all approved about 4 months before its official launch. So it’s safe to assume that Galaxy S25 Edge would see its launch set somewhere around the month of April or May.

There have been rumors that S25 Ege (which was earlier dubbed to be Galaxy S25 Slim) would go official in May. So this aligns with our guess on the release date.
Specs
Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be a very thin smartphone measuring just 6.4mm. With a 3900 mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for processing, we have to wait to see if this smartphone garners from Samsung enthusiasts.
