The Samsung Galaxy S25 series comprising the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra has been in the news quite a few times in the past with their live images and details about various specifications, especially their processors.
A new report now shares another interesting detail about the chipset and the launch timeframe of the lineup. The lineup has been spotted on the 3C Certification and Geekbench platforms.
Same Processor in the Complete Lineup
It was initially said that the Galaxy S25 lineup would have the manufacturer’s Exynos 2500 processor under their hoods. However, a later leak mentioned that Samsung was facing production constraints for its processor. As a result, it was expected that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ would be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm and only the top-end Galaxy S25 Ultra would support the Exynos 2500 processor.
The latest report that has just come in now shares a different perspective on the processor housed in the lineup. According to the post by tipster heyitsyogesh on the popular X platform, all three smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This is in line with a statement by another noteworthy tipster Ice Universe on the same platform that the handsets for the home and international markets will incorporate the same processor.
Other Expected Samsung Galaxy 25 Series Specifications
The lineup will have larger displays and rounded corners when compared to their predecessors. The vanilla and Plus variants could house the same camera setup as their Galaxy S24 counterparts while the Ultra variant could have an upgrade for the secondary telephoto and ultra-wide lenses with each snapper having a resolution of 50 MP.

The Galaxy S25 and S25+ offer 25 W and 45 W fast charging support while the S25 Ultra supports 45 W rapid charging and satellite connectivity.
The latest leak about the processor also mentions that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series mentions that the lineup will ship next year in the second half of January 2025. They are slated to come with Android 15 layered with One UI 7.
