For the first time, Samsung will offer a slim model called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim in its flagship S-series lineup.
The rumor mill has churned out various details about the release date of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. A new leak now brings out the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim along with information on when it can be expected to break cover.
Expected GalaxyS25 Slim Specs
As the name indicates, the key highlight of the smartphone will be its sleek form factor. According to what tipster Ice Universe has reported, the handset will have a thickness of only about 6 mm. This will not only make it thinner than the base variant Galaxy S24 of the earlier lineup but also marginally slimmer than the upcoming iPhone 17 Air/Slim by Apple.

For the processor, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The RAM and storage details are yet to be known although it is likely that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will join the other handsets in the lineup to offer 12 GB as the starting option.
The only information available about the display is that the handset will have a 6.66-inch display. This means that the screen size will match that of the Plus variant, Galaxy S25+.
As far as the battery is concerned, the smartphone will be equipped with a 4700 mAh to 5000 mAh battery. While this is considered to be a decent size for a slim handset, the manufacturer will likely incorporate silicon carbon anode battery technology.

In the camera department, there will be three shooters on the back panel. These snappers will be a HP5 main camera with a resolution of 200 MP, a JN5 telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom and a resolution of 50 MP, and a JN5 ultra-wide camera with a resolution of 50 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is not anticipated to be launched a month after the other smartphones in the series. If so, we can expect the handset to break cover in February 2025.
