Samsung’s upcoming flagship S25 Ultra will be the thinnest and lightest ever ‘Ultra’ smartphone in the flagship ‘S’ series of Samsung.

Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have already been leaked and they showed that the device will come with mild-rounded edges, unlike the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This change in the design is expected to make it easier and comfortable to hold in hand.

While the renders just shared the look of the image, there was no information about the dimensions of the phone. However, that has now been revealed, thanks to a leak by X user @IceUniverse.

According to the tweet, the leaker has confirmed the Galaxy S25 Ultra to be the slimmest and lightest ever flagship from Samsung and that it will also beat the competition hands down, like the iPhone 16 Pro Max that will be launched in a week and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL that was released recently.

Let’s take a look at the dimensions of these flagships from Apple and Google to know how thin and light Samsung’s 2025 Ultra flagship is going to be.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max

  • Thickness: 8.25mm
  • Weight: 225 grams

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL

  • Thickness: 8.5mm
  • Weight: 221 grams

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

  • Thickness: 8.6mm
  • Weight: 232 grams

So this implies that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is going to weigh less than 221 grams and will have a thickness of lower than 8.25mm. This is also significantly much better than its predecessor, Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Other Galaxy S25 Ultra Features

Based on other leaks and rumors about Galaxy S25 Ultra, the phone will have quad camera sensors with the primary sensor being the 200MP one, which was also used in Galaxy S24 Ultra. There will be three other 50MP sensors, with one being a telephoto lens, another one for super-telephoto, and the last one for ultrawide photography. The selfie camera will be just 12MP though.

The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC while the other devices in the S25 series lineup, the S25+ and S25 base variant will be made available with the Exynos 2500 SoC.
