Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Series Could Have Atleast Two Variants

Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6

Even as Samsung just launched its Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in the home country South Korea, word has started spreading around about the manufacturer’s plans for the foldable smartphone portfolio in 2025.

A recent report claims that there will be more than two smartphones.

Codenames of the Foldable Smartphones

According to a GalaxyClub report, the tech giant is said to be working on three foldable smartphones for the upcoming year. The report associates the codename B7 with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 while the codename Q7 refers to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

There is also mention of a third model with the codename Q7M that is highlighted as an Unknown Galaxy Fold Variant. However, there are speculations that the unknown model could be the manufacturer’s rumored tri-fold smartphone. There are also talks that the smartphone may be a 2025 Special Edition handset that is targeted at the global market instead of being available as a limited-edition handset.

There are no confirmed details available about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphones at the moment. An earlier rumor that came up last month indicates that the Galaxy Flip 7 and Fold 7 are likely to house the manufacturer’s Exynos 2500 processor under their hoods. As the manufacturer has not revealed anything in this regard, it is recommended to consider this information with a grain of salt. More details of the handsets can be expected in the upcoming days.

Samsung appears to be working on the Q7M model along with the B7 and Q7 models indicating that all three smartphones may be available at the same time. Following the usual trend, the foldable smartphones are likely to be available only in the summer of 2025 at the earliest.
