Based on a pattern followed by Bethesda for some of its recently released titles, there is a possibility of the much-awaited game getting launched in 2027!
One game which the gaming community has been waiting for the last several years is The Elder Scrolls 6. The game was formally announced at Bethesda’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in the year 2018. It has been almost seven years since the game was announced but it is yet to arrive.
When the 30th anniversary celebrations of The Elder Scrolls took place last year, one finally got some update about The Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda stated that it is working on the “development on the next chapter – The Elder Scrolls VI”.

The studio further said that it has been enjoying the process of getting back to the world of The Elder Scrolls and adding several new elements to it.
A while back, Bethesda joined hands with Make-A-Wish to provide The Elder Scrolls 6 fans with the chance to design an Elder Scrolls 6 NPC. An auction of this kind was put together two years before the planned launch of Starfield. The game, as we know, went through several delays and was released much later. This led to a lot of fans wondering whether The Elder Scrolls 6 would be out in 2027.
Some fans believe Bethesda is almost done with the process of developing The Elder Scrolls 6. If not the main game, fans believe the studio has an alpha build ready.
Based on this theory, the community believes the studio could decide to launch the game towards the end of 2026 or in early 2027.

Recent reports have indicated that Bethesda is working towards developing a second expansion for Starfield. There have been rumors about a PS5 port as well.
If the aforementioned theories turn out to be accurate, there is a good possibility of a re-reveal of The Elder Scrolls 6 happening in 2026 and the game getting a grand launch in 2027.
