The Solstice island is known for its unique landscape and vibrant structures.
Incorporating major changes in a video game is harder than most people would imagine it to be. Launched in April 2014, The Elder Scrolls Online has managed to remain relevant over the years because of various reasons, including giving players the opportunity to explore its vast open world and an engaging narrative. While the game has had a steady fan base for more than a decade, fans have often complained about major changes not being brought into the game at regular intervals.
In 2025, fans would witness the resurgence of the Worm Cult through the game’s narrative. Fans would remember that Molang Bal suffered from a major defeat in the game a decade ago. If you do a proper analysis, you will realize that the last 10 years of storyline in the game would amount to one year of time in-game.

In the beginning, players witnessed the Daedric Prince Molang Bal being invaded through Planemeld anchors. Everything came full circle with players joining hands with Hermaeus Mora and putting an end to the threat of another Daedric Prince in the Gold Road expansion, which came out last year.
For a while, players witnessed a variety of things they could not even imagine happening in the first place. From an unexpected alliance taking place between Vampires and Werewolves to the entire reality getting threatened by a Daedric Triumvirate, they were witnesses to all kinds of strange happenings. Seasons of the Worm Cult would emerge as the endpoint of the decade-long story. However, one could also see it as a new beginning as the narrative harps back to the same Worm Cult that lent a helping hand to Planemeld a long time ago.
Seasons of the Worm Cult can be credited with bringing a lot of elements in the game that did not exist in it earlier. This, for instance, happens to be the first time that Zenimax Online Studios has made an attempt to launch a single playable zone and even offered a lore-based reason for the same. The narrative of the Seasons of the Worm Cult revolves around the mysterious island of Solstice.
In the first part of the season, the storyline of Solstice will remain restricted to the Western parts owing to the fact that the island is bifurcated by a strange Withering Wall. From every corner of the island, one can have a look at its enigmatic structure. The developers, during a preview event, spoke about how a structure of this kind would make the exploration much more dynamic.

The Solstice island is unique for special reasons. The developers, through all their creations, made it quite evident that they have an eye for detail. The foundations and buildings of the city offer a glimpse of the architecture of the milieu and the kind of environment it is surrounded by.
While the cityscape is impressive, the island, on its own, deserves to be discussed in detail. The island can be best described as a tropical paradise characterized by lush vegetation. The island, in a way, is colored in hues of pink and violet. The fauna is known for featuring multiple color schemes and being equipped with different biological markers.
