Based on Bethesda’s past release strategies, fans believe the much-delayed game could be out in 2026 or 2027!
The Elder Scrolls VI was announced way back in 2018 at Bethesda’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) conference. Despite being announced more than half a decade ago and remaining in development hell for a long time, fans continue to be excited about the game.
The franchise got off to a very good start with the arrival of The Elder Scrolls: Arena and since then, one has seen a plethora of games being launched as a part of the series. Some of the most successful games to have been launched as a part of this franchise include The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
With time, the speculations surrounding the game have increased. While some fans believe the game will launch sometime in 2027 or 2028, there are many who are of the opinion that it will never see the light of day.

Since Bethesda has encountered some issues with the development process of The Elder Scrolls VI, many fans believe the studio would require some time to put it together.
