No other life simulation video game franchise has achieved the kind of success The Sims has managed to. Currently, fans are hooked on to The Sims 4 and are looking forward to the arrival of the next game in the franchise.

Developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts, the first game in this franchise was launched in the year 2000. Despite being launched at a time when gaming technology was not as developed as it is today, the game left a huge impact on the gaming community. The success of the game led Electronic Arts to develop more games as a part of the franchise. While The Sims 3 was launched in the year 2009, The Sims 4 was rolled out in 2014.

While gamers can purchase them as independent units, they also have the option of acquiring the entire bundle at $39.99.
