The re-released versions of the Sims games are expected to have all the expansions one came across in the original games.
For a long time, players had been looking forward to The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 re-releasing. If a recent leak is anything to go by, the titles will re-release on January 31. The first game in The Sims franchise was released in February 2000. Upon its release, the game became an instant hit and paved the way for a few other titles released as a part of the franchise. The first two Sims games in the franchise, according to many fans, are the finest the franchise has offered till date.
Owing to the massive popularity of the first two games in the franchise, fans have often come up with requests to re-release them properly.

A while back, Electronic Arts teased about the possibility of the two games being re-released soon. According to a fresh leak, the two games might just be re-released on January 31 which happens to be a Friday.

As per an X user, who identifies themselves as Anadius, The Sims and The Sims 2 will get a re-release on Windows 10 and 11 operating systems on Friday, January 31 at 10:00 am CST. At the moment, however, there is no information about the price tags attached to these titles. Since one will see the dawn of January 31 in the next few hours, fans will not have to wait too long to figure out whether this piece of information is true or not.
Fans are keenly looking forward to the re-releases of The Sims and The Sims 2 as reports have indicated that they feature all the post-release expansions.

Expansions like Livin’ Large, House Party, Hot Date, Vacation, Unleashed, Superstar, and Makin’ Magic, which were a part of The Sims, are expected to be seen in the re-released version as well.
