A new expansion leak, as per the leak, is scheduled to arrive in early October.
While an EA App update was in progress, an error happened and that led to the next expansion pack ‘Adventure Awaits’ designed for The Sims 4 getting leaked. What also got leaked was important information pertaining to the kind of content one will get to see being released till the end of this year. The Sims base games are known for featuring a vast amount of content. What is interesting is the fact that the expansions fit into the scheme of things and complement them very well. With each game in the franchise, one has seen an increase in the number of expansions. At the moment, The Sims 4 has as many as 20 expansions.
Despite being around for more than a decade, The Sims 4 continues to enjoy enormous popularity. One of the reasons behind it is the fact that the game gets updated regularly by the developers. Enchanted by Nature, which happens to be the newest expansion pack for The Sims 4, was launched in July this year. After this, one saw the launch of two creator kits. Since these released happened back-to-back, one was not expecting another expansion pack to drop any time soon. However, that is exactly what seems to be happening.

The EA App was updated on August 28. Once the update went live, one got the impression that EA, by accident, shared the announcement for an upcoming expansion pack, events and kits along with the roadmap for the third and fourth quarters of 2025.

While some started taking screenshots, some started wondering what this actually meant as the link of the announcement was not leading them anywhere.
A leaker, who identifies themselves as MedievalKiller21, had earlier posted a picture of a roadmap for The Sims 4. At the moment, one can assume that this must be the image that featured on the webpage that has now been removed. Based on this leak, fans now have some idea of what The Sims 4 would offer them throughout the year.

If one goes by the leaked roadmap of The Sims 4, the next expansion pack is all set to be unveiled on September 4. The leak further states that a new event, scheduled on September 23, will promote this pack extensively. Once the event wraps up, the expansion pack will be launched formally on October 2. One can also look forward to the arrival of some free base game updates and kits around this time.
Once the roadmap leak happened, one saw a promotional image pertaining to the expansion pack getting circulated in online communities.

If the image contains an iota of truth, the next expansion pack will be titled Adventure Awaits. There is a strong possibility of it being designed similarly to the Outdoor Retreat game pack. There have also been murmurs about a new skill being offered in the form of archery through this pack. In the near future, one expects EA to share some update about this in official capacity.
