The Sims 4: EA Set To Bring Patch For Pregnancy Bug

The Sims 4 pregnancy bug

Though EA has not specified a date yet, the patch is expected to be out soon!

There are several reasons why people get attracted to simulation games. Such games give players the opportunity to go through the beats of a life that they cannot experience otherwise. While one has seen several simulation games being launched over the years, nothing has succeeded as much as the games rolled out in The Sims 4 series.

The Sims 4, the last game to have been launched as a part of the franchise, was launched way back in 2014. Despite being around for more than a decade, The Sims 4 continues to be extremely relevant. One of the factors that has contributed to the success of the game is Electronic Arts rolling out fresh updates for it at regular intervals. Apart from bringing new content to the game, these updates contribute towards resolving the issues or driving away the bugs affecting the game.

July started off on a good note for the fans of The Sims 4. An important update, introduced to the base game on July 1, resulted in several important enhancements, including an inventory overhaul. Like many of the patches released in the recent past, it fixed several glitches and bugs.

While players were happy with this patch fixing the glitches and driving away the bugs, they were disappointed to know that it led to the pregnancy system getting broken. The good news is that EA has taken note of this situation and is already working towards introducing a new patch that will resolve this issue.

EA has always had a balanced gameplay approach for The Sims 4. Through the last launched patch, EA tried to fix issues and improve the overall gameplay of the game. The players, too, were greatly appreciative of the quality-of-life upgrades that this patch brought to the fore. However, things took an unexpected turn with the emergence of the pregnancy glitch.

Soon enough, players started pointing out the fact that they were not experiencing important pregnancy interactions. Many users were quick to point out the disappearance of the ‘Try For Baby’ interaction. Another set of gamers complained about the disappearance of the pregnancy test option.

Many have been complaining about the disappearance of their Sims’ baby bumps. Though their Sims are marked or shown to be pregnant, they fail to see any sign of baby bumps.

If somebody is working on a narrative that revolves around families or legacies, this particular feature is extremely important. Because of this glitch, many are not able to play the game.

As soon as this glitch appeared, fans reached out to EA through its social media handles. The publisher, on its part, quickly took note of this situation and assured fans that a patch will be out soon and that this issue will be resolved.

While players are happy about EA confirming the arrival of a patch in the near future, they are also getting a little restless as no date has been specified. In the next few days, one expects the publisher to offer some clarity on when one can expect this patch to be rolled out.
