As a part of this new update, The Sims 4 introduces 12 new items in the game. This update has been made accessible to all for free and the additions have been made to the base game. Once the user launches the game, the update will start getting downloaded. Most of these items revolve around the Pride theme. Through a short video, EA has offered a sneak peak into the new items which cover several categories including face paint, clothing, wall decorations, clothing and bedding. The Sims 4 has brought in a new checkered button-up shirt, jean shorts, Pride-themed knee socks, Converse shoes, wall art, and bedspreads.
A while back, EA and Maxis confirmed that they are not working on The Sims 5 at the moment. In the same breath, they said that they are committed towards making The Sims 4 better.

While the new update brings in a lot of fresh content in the game, fans should also feel excited at the prospect of three new kits scheduled to come out in May. These three kits have been named Restoration Workshop, Golden Years, and Kitchen Clutter.
The 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise is not the only reason why EA seems to be pumping in a lot of fresh content in The Sims 4. InZOI, which was launched recently, is a life simulation game and therefore, a competitor to the franchise. In the near future, one can expect a few more games to be launched in this category. This should compel EA to be on its toes and keep coming up with new ways to ensure The Sims keeps growing as a franchise.
