A long-pending issue faced by The Sims 4 players has been finally resolved after the launch of a new update.
The Sims 4 has rolled out a new base game update. This particular update arrives just a while before one can expect to have Life & Death, the new expansion pack, in one’s hands. Along with several important gameplay improvements, the update also brings to the fore a plethora of features that would work towards improving the base game significantly.
The Sims 4’s base update gives players the opportunity to choose from a variety of new gameplay elements and features. Along with new interactions, the new update has incorporated the ability for a Sim to react to the death of a Sim depending on their traits and other factors. One of the new features that players will take great liking to is the one that gives a player the ability to swap between different occults while creating a Sim in Create-A-Sim.

For more than 10 years, The Sims 4 has remained the core game in The Sims franchise. However, players often complained about certain important elements not being a part of the base game. Players became even more flustered when they used the Create-A-Sim mode and spent a large amount of time trying to put together a Sim character. Because of the issues they would face, players would end up discarding their new Sim and launching the process from the beginning.
The aforementioned issue has now finally been addressed. Players now have the opportunity to create a new Sim character from scratch. They have the option to choose its occult at any given time during the process of creating a Sim in Create-A-Sim. What this essentially means is that players will not have to stress about losing the progress they have made even if they decide to swap occults.
Recently, Electronic Arts surprised fans by announcing that the company is not working on The Sims 5 at the moment and that The Sims 5 would remain the core game of the franchise for a very long time. This new update, therefore, would be appreciated by fans who had been enjoying the experience of playing The Sims 4 but wanted some enhancements made to it.
