With just a few days to go before the release of the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro, Vivo has started putting up poster images about the lineup.
While an earlier poster image highlighted the design of the smartphones, recent ones mention their key specifications. Going by the poster images, the Vivo S20 will come with a film camera mode and support a Dopamine Live Dynamic Photos feature. On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro will have a revamped portrait telephoto shooter. The camera module will also feature the 100x zoom text inscribed within it.
The base variant will be powered by a huge battery with 6,500 mAh capacity and incorporate semi-solid-state technology. While the poster image of the Pro variant does not say anything about the battery, it reveals that the handset will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor under the hood.

The S20 Pro will encompass a micro quad-curved display. According to the manufacturer, this will help users experience the feel of a curved display while the screen has a straight appearance. The smartphone will additionally feature improved thermal efficiency because it implements the manufacturer’s Blue Crystal technology. The S20 will have a thickness of just 7.19 mm and a straight display panel.
The poster image shows that one color option of the Vivo S20 is gold whereas the Vivo S20 Pro will be available in purple as one color choice.
Expected Specifications
Both smartphones are likely to BOE Q10 OLED displays with a size of 6.67 inches. The Vivo S20 is anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It is slated that the Vivo S20 Pro will have a smaller battery than the vanilla variant but will have 90 W fast charging support.

The S20 is expected to have a two-camera setup comprising a 50 MP snapper and an 8 MP snapper on the back along with a 50 MP camera in the front. On the other hand, the S20 Pro is said to have three shooters with 50 MP resolution on the rear including a primary camera, a periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is anticipated to have a 50 MP resolution.
The Vivo S20 and S20 Pro will be launched in China on the 28th of this month. As Vivo usually keeps the S-series exclusive to the home country, they may be available globally with a rebranding.
