Vivo is actively setting the stage for its mid-range S20 lineup of smartphones comprising the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro in China.
As more and more leaks have been coming through about the Vivo S20 series handsets, the vanilla variant has now been listed on the Geekbench platform.
Vivo S20 Geekbench Listing
As with any listing on the Geekbench platform, this listing also reveals only the model number V2429 and not the moniker. The model number matches the model numbers mentioned on the TENAA and 3C databases in the home country for the handset. The listing reveals a single-core score of 1222 and a multi-core score of 3417.
While the listing reveals that the Vivo S20 will be equipped with 16 GB RAM, the certifications mentioned earlier mention other RAM options of 8 GB and 12 GB. They also indicate that the handset will support storage choices ranging from a minimum of 128 GB to a whopping 1 TB. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will come with Android 15 pre-installed.
Other Expected Specifications
On the back panel, the S20 is reported to have two cameras comprising a 50 MP primary sensor and an 8 MP secondary sensor. There will be a 50 MP camera in front for selfies and video calls. The handset is reported to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and offers enhanced security with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

According to the 3C certification listing, the smartphone will have a 6,365 mAh capacity with support for 90 W wired fast charging. There is likely to be no support for wireless charging.
Although Vivo is tight-lipped about the launch timeframe or date of the Vivo S20 lineup, it is expected to arrive on the 28th of this month, a couple of days after the Oppo Reno 13 series.
