While Vivo is gearing towards the global release of the flagship premium Vivo X200 series after its launch in China, the manufacturer is also working on the mid-range Vivo T4x 5G, Y59 5G, and Y29 4G.
These smartphones will arrive as the successors to the Vivo T3x 5G, Y58 5G, and Y28 4G respectively. While the handsets have been recently spotted on the IMEI database, their details and specifications are still under wraps.
IMEI Database Details
As cited above, the IMEI database provides no insight into what can be expected from these smartphones. The listing only mentions their monikers Vivo T4x 5G, Vivo Y59 5G, and Vivo V29 4G plus their model numbers V2437, V2443, and V2434 respectively.
Vivo T3x 5G, Y58, and Y29 4G Specifications
The major difference between the three smartphones is with respect to their processors. The T3x 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. On the other hand, the Y58 5G and Y28 4G are packed with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a MediaTek Helio G85 processor respectively.
The Vivo T3x 5G and Y58 5G have IPS LCD 6.72-inch displays with 1000 nits brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate. In contrast, the Vivo Y28 4G features a HD+ 6.68-inch screen with 90 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness.
All three smartphones offer RAM of up to 8 GB and storage of up to 256 GB. They also support external storage expansion of up to 1 TB and come with the Android 14-based FunTouch 14 interface. The handsets also encompass a 6000 mAh battery that supports 44 W fast charging.

In the camera department, the front panels of the Vivo smartphones have a single camera with 8 MP resolution for video calls and selfies. The back panels have a 50 MP main camera along with a 2 MP depth camera.
The Vivo T4x 5G and Y59 5G are expected to have some advancements over their predecessors. The T4x 5G is slated to score better with respect to performance, battery life, and camera quality. However, the Vivo Y29 4G is likely to have similar features as that of the earlier model.
The exact release or launch dates of the handsets are not known at the moment. Nevertheless, the Vivo Y59 5G is anticipated to have a Q1 2025 release.
