An upcoming smartphone with the model number V2429A from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has been spotted on the TENAA Certification database of the home country.

The listing does not mention the name of the smartphone in the local database. The specifications mentioned hint that the handset is most likely a mid-range device. It is likely that this smartphone will belong to the manufacturer’s T series or Y series.

The Vivo V2429A will have an AMOLED screen with a display panel of 6.68 inches in size. The panel offers a 10-bit color rendition along with a 1.5K resolution and a 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution.

The name of the processor used in the smartphone is not known at the moment. However, the chipset will offer a clocking speed of up to 2.36 GHz. At the back, the V2429A will have two cameras. The primary shooter will be a 50 MP camera. The other camera will be an 8 MP auxiliary lens. On the front, the smartphone will encompass a 50 MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone will be powered by a huge battery with a rated value of 6,365 mAh and a typical value of nearly 6,500 mAh. The handset will have a size of 160.35 x 74.18 x 7.19 mm and have a low weight of 185.5 g.

The TENAA database listing mentions that the Vivo V2429A will be equipped with an IR blaster and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. However, as the TENAA database does not reveal any images, the design details are still unclear at the moment.
