Vivo has already teased the global release of the Vivo V50 in the Indian subcontinent.
The poster released then revealed the rear panel indicating a close resemblance to the Vivo S20. After being listed on multiple platforms like SIRM, NCC, EEC, TDRA, and BIS to mention just a few, the Vivo V50 has now been spotted on the popular Geekbench platform.
Vivo V50 Geekbench Listing
The Vivo V50 has been listed on the Geekbench platform with the model number V2427. The listing reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset like the V30 and V40 predecessors.
One core has a clocking frequency of 2.36 GHz, three cores have a clocking frequency of 2.40 GHz, and four cores with a clocking frequency of 1.80 GHz. This will be complemented by 8 GB RAM and the handset will run on Android 15.
Expected V50 Specs
The V50 will be the thinnest smartphone from the manufacturer so far. There will be two cameras on the back panel in a circular module. Both cameras will incorporate the ZEISS branding. The handset will also feature a ring LED flash. In the front, there will be a 50 MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will draw its juice from a 6,000 mAh battery that is bigger than that of the 5,500 mAh battery in the Vivo V40 predecessor. The V50 will have a quad-curved display, unlike the S20 which is equipped with a flat display. It will support GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
