The Vivo V50e and Vivo V50 will be offered by Vivo in its V50 series.
The former smartphone has now been listed on the BIS certification platform while the latter has found its way to the NBTC certification database. The handsets were earlier spotted on the EEC and IMEI/GSMA platforms without any specifications. These listings confirm the launch of the two smartphones outside the home country China.
BIS and NBTC Listings of Vivo V50e and Vivo V50
The BIS certification platform reveals only the model number V2428 of the V50e. There is no reference to any name for the handset. On the other hand, the NBTC certification database mentions both the model number V2427 and the moniker of the V50.

Unfortunately, both listings do not mention any details that confirm the specifications of both smartphones.
Expected Specifications
Both handsets will come with AMOLED panels. However, the V50e will have a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. On the other hand, the V50 will have a slightly bigger 6.78-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
While the Vivo V50e will support a Dimensity 8200 processor from MediaTek, the Vivo V50 will house a Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset from Qualcomm. They will have 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options and 256 GB and 512 GB storage. The handsets will run on Android 15 with the manufacturer’s FunTouchOS 15.
The V50e will be equipped with a 50 MP main wide-angle camera, a 32 MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8 MP camera. In contrast, the Vivo V50 will house a resolution of 50 MP for all three smartphones. On the front, they will have a punch-hole selfie camera.

The smartphones will draw their juice from a 5700 mAh battery with support for 100 W flash/fast charging and reverse charging.
Although Vivo has kept the launch details under wraps, it is expected that the Vivo V50e may debut in January or February 2025 while the Vivo V50 may follow its predecessor and be released in August this year.
