Following the release of its X Fold 3 lineup, Vivo is now working on the upcoming X Fold 4.
Unlike the predecessors, there will be only one variant. While a few details about the Vivo X Fold 4 smartphone have been tipped in the past, the latest leak shares almost all major details that can be expected in the foldable.
Processor Details
According to the tipoff from Digital Chat Station, the X Fold 4 will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under its hood. Unfortunately, the leak does not reveal the possible RAM and storage options that are likely to be supported by the handset.
Camera Setup
The same leak suggests that the X Fold 4 will have an appealing camera setup. There will be a huge circular module in the middle of the back panel, each of them supporting a resolution of 50 MP. The three shooters will be a primary snapper, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The leak, however, does not mention any details of the front-facing camera.

Battery Capacity of X Fold 4
The smartphone will have a decently sized 6,000 mAh battery that offers support for wireless charging. The charging details are yet to be known.
Design
The handset will come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance and will be very thin and light although the battery size is huge. The manufacturer will also incorporate a three-stage pressure-sensitive button for the first time. The smartphone will also have two ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, one for each display.
Earlier reports about the X Fold 4 hinted at a release in the first quarter of the next year. However, the latest report indicates that there may be a slight delay in the launch of the Vivo X Fold 4 and this is likely to happen only in the second quarter.
