Rumors have been abuzz in the past about the specs of Vivo X Fold 4.

There has also been speculation that this Vivo smartphone would be called the X Fold 4 Pro. The latest leak now talks about the processor, battery, and periscope camera of the smartphone.

The leak by Digital Chat Station on Weibo does not mention the name of the handset. However, the fact that it refers to the smartphone as a big foldable, the details are likely to be about the X Fold 4.

According to the leak, the handset will house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In response to why the foldable will not have the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the tipster hints that the price could be a reason.

Additional details in the leak indicate that the smartphone will have a periscope camera with a 50 MP resolution as well as a huge battery with around 6,000 mAh capacity and wireless charging support.

The leak goes on to add that the handset will have an IPX8 water resistance rating and a fingerprint scanner on the side.

Expected Specs

Going by earlier reports, apart from the periscope telephoto camera, the X Fold 4 will have a 50 MP primary snapper and an ultra-wide sensor. The periscope shooter will feature enhanced zoom capabilities.

The smartphone will have a huge AMOLED display with a high refresh rate and be surrounded by very thin bezels. It will have an improvised hinge mechanism that increases its durability and lessens its crease.

The handset will support fast wired charging that allows it to be used for a whole day with a single charge.

The Vivo X Fold 4 will break cover in the home country China in June 2025.
