As the launch date for the Vivo X Fold 5 is fast approaching, various details of the foldable have been shared.
A new leak now confirms the display details of the Vivo X Fold 5 smartphone and also an image of its internal screen.
Display Specs
The latest display details of the handset have found their way on a Weibo post by the company executive and product manager Han Boxiao, along with a close-up image of how the internal display would look.
According to Boxiao, the outer and inner displays of the smartphone will have high-quality LTPO 8T panels on the outside as well as inside. This will allow the smartphone to deliver fluid visuals with a high pixel resolution and density. The foldable will have a smooth refresh rate for effortless gaming, scrolling, or just about any activity.

The two screens feature Zeiss Master Color tuning that helps them deliver rich and accurate reproduction of colors. Additionally, the inner display of the X Fold 5 is easily readable even under bright sunlight with its local peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This display also supports high-frequency full-brightness PWM dimming along with the Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification from TUV Rheinland, offering assurance of eye safety with extended use.
Design Details
The image reveals a change in the design when compared to the earlier Vivo X Fold 3 series.

The alert slider in the predecessor models has been replaced by a new physical button. The function of this button is not known at the moment.
The brand has not let out any details of the Vivo X Fold 5. However, it recently announced that the smartphone will have high durability with IPX9 water and IP5X dust resistance. The manufacturer also claims that the handset will function efficiently even at -20 °C.
