The Vivo X Fold 5 has started creating a buzz in the news circles in the recent past.
A recent leak pointed out some key specifications of the upcoming foldable phone. This has now been followed by a report that iterates these details along with the possible launch timeframe of the smartphone. The Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station does not explicitly mention the name of the handset. However, the specifications mentioned reveal that the post is about the Vivo X Fold 5. The post mentions that the smartphone is presently slated for a July release.

However, based on its internal progress, the smartphone may break cover a month earlier in June. It is worth noting that the same tipster had earlier cited that the foldable will launch in China in the third quarter of the year.
Expected X Fold5 Specs
The foldable display will mimic the earlier Vivo X Fold 3 series in terms of design. There is no certainty of a Pro variant at the moment.
The X Fold 5 will house a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED display on the outside and an 8.03-inch AMOLED display on the inside. Both displays will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will feature the Always-On Display functionality.
The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Among the various RAM and storage options, the top-end variant will have 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. There will also be a 512 GB storage variant.

The rear panel of the handset will have a large circular module with three 50 MP cameras comprising a main camera, a periscope telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide lens. There will be two 20 MP video calling and selfie cameras, with one of them positioned on the outer display and the other on the inside.
The Vivo X Fold 5 will house a large 6,000 mAh battery with support for 30 W wireless charging and 90 W wired charging.
