The Vivo X Fold 5 has been one of the topics of discussion in the news circle for quite some time.
The various leaks have hinted at what can be expected from the foldable. Following this, the brand has started letting out various teasers about the smartphone. The latest teaser comes in the form of a video by Han Boxiao, Product Manager for China, with a claim that the handset will be lighter than any other foldable available so far.
The video reveals the design of the X Fold 5. It also shows that the smartphone will be thinner than its predecessor.

The handset will also be lighter than the X Fold 3, which weighs 219 g. An earlier report by XpertPick reveals that the foldable will weigh 209 g. In the folded state, the smartphone will have a thickness of 9.33 mm and in the unfolded state, it will be 4.3 mm thick.
Expected X Fold5 Specs
The most recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the handset will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm under its hood. The foldable will have a periscope camera on the back with an IMX882 sensor. It will support 90 W wired charging and wireless charging.
Earlier reports of the X Fold 5 mention that the smartphone will have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. There may be a 1 TB storage option as well. The handset will draw its juice from a huge 6,000 mAh battery with 30 W wireless charging support.
The foldable will have an outer 6.53-inch LTPO OLED panel and an inner 8.03-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution for its displays. Both displays will have a 120 Hz refresh rate.

There will be three 50 MP cameras on the back. Apart from the periscope camera, there will be a main camera and an ultrawide snapper. There will be two 32 MP cameras, one on the outside and the other on the inside, for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo X Fold 5 will break cover in China this month along with the Pad 5e and TWS Air 3 Pro.
