After various reports of a mini model in the Vivo X200 lineup, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini has now been officially confirmed by Jia Jingdong, General Manager and Vice President of Brand and Product Strategy.
He has released a Weibo post in this regard and to introduce the brand ambassador for the Vivo X200 series.
The Vivo X200 lineup is slated to include several smartphones comprising the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Ultra along with the newly confirmed X200 Pro Mini.
Specifications
Vivo is yet to let out any details or specifications about the new smartphone in the series. However, tipster Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo some specifications that can be expected in the X200 Pro Mini.
His post indicates that the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is a smaller variant of the standard X200 Pro. The smartphone is slated to have a lightweight design and match other smartphones in the series in terms of performance. The handset will feature a high-spec screen. Although he does not mention the size, earlier reports suggest that the screen size is 6.3 inches.

The post goes on to mention that the smartphone will encompass a customized optical main camera. It will be packed with an ultra-high-density battery that supports wireless and wired fast charging. Like the other handsets in the lineup, save the X200 Ultra, the X200 Pro Mini will also be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC.
The term Pro in the name is a clue that the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is not going to be the cheapest smartphone in the lineup. It will come with the features of a flagship handset.
All the Vivo X200 smartphones will debut in China in October this year while the Ultra variant will have a slightly later launch early next year.
