Vivo X300 Main Camera Confirmed Officially; Ultra-Wide and Periscope Shooter Details Leaked

The Vivo X300 series has been in the news for quite some time. While earlier leaks focused on the Vivo X300 Pro and X300 Ultra, the most recent reports are centered around the Vivo X300.

They share insights about the camera details of the smartphone.

One report is an official declaration about the main camera of the Vivo X300 by Han Boxio, who is the Product Manager of Vivo. According to him, the snapper will have a resolution of 200 MP and a HPB sensor that is an upgrade of the HP9 sensor from Samsung.

The B represents blue and the sensor is designed solely for Vivo. This sensor will have a size of 1/1.4-inch and support CIPA 4.5-level OIS. It will deliver high-resolution shots and ultra-clear output. Additionally, the sensor comprises a Zeiss T* coating and blue glass for improved ghosting and glare control and better clarity.

The second report is in the form of a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, who is known for accurate predictions most of the time.

The ultra-wide camera will have a resolution of 50 MP. It is expected to house a Samsung JN1 or JN5 sensor. The details are not clear at the moment.

As for the periscope camera, the Vivo X300 will have a 50 MP resolution for this shooter as well. It will have an optical zoom lens of size 70 mm and with 3x optical zoom support.

There will also be a sensor of 0.5-inch size. This camera will support telephoto macro photography and incorporate a light-folding prism structure.

The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are slated for an October 2025 launch with a Dimensity 9500 processor from MediaTek. On the other end, the top-end Ultra variant will see the light of day at a later date.
