Vivo is actively working on its X300 lineup, comprising the Vivo X300 Pro and the standard variant, X300.
An earlier leak shared insights about the cameras of the Vivo X300. The same tipster has now once again come forward to offer details about the cameras of the Pro variant.
Expected X300 Pro Camera Specs
According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X300 Pro will have the most recent LYT-828 sensor from Sony. This sensor is a large-format 1/1.3-inch sensor with a 50 MP resolution and is structured on a 22 nm process node.

The post goes on to add that the sensor will support a very high dynamic range. Although not mentioned in the tipoff, it is also said to have excellent light capture capabilities. These two details will contribute to excellent shots even in low-light situations.
Additionally, the smartphone will have two other cameras. While one of them will feature a 50 MP resolution, the other snapper will be a periscope camera with a huge 1/1.4-inch sensor and a whopping resolution of 200 MP. The periscope sensor is likely to offer telephoto macro photography support.
The tipster goes on to add that the cameras will feature a new coating technology that will resolve all optical problems. The coating will help to cut down on reflections and glare and deliver high-quality shots.
Earlier reports about the X300 have provided sparse details about its processor and display. Both handsets in the lineup will house the Dimensity 9500 processor from MediaTek under their hoods.

In the display department, the Vivo X300 will feature a 6.3-inch display while the X300 Pro will house a bigger 6.78-inch display.
The Vivo X300 lineup is likely to be launched in a couple of months from now, in September. While the tipster is often reliable and accurate about the details shared, it is better to consider them with a grain of salt, as the brand is yet to reveal any confirmed details.
