Vivo is working on the Vivo X300 lineup comprising four smartphones – Vivo X300, X300 Pro Mini, X300 Pro, and X300 Ultra.
A new leak from a known tipster talks about some camera details of the X300 Pro.
X300 Pro Camera Specs
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the handset will use a Sony IMX09A sensor for the main camera. This is a substantial upgrade over the Sony LYT-818 sensor in the earlier X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini. This sensor will have a resolution of 50 MP, a pixel size of 1.22 µm, and an optical format of 1/1.28-inch.

The sensor will additionally support an Ultra High Conversion Gain circuit that enhances the signal-to-noise performance and light sensitivity. It will also incorporate Dual Conversion Gain High Dynamic Range and an updated DCG+VS technology. Although the post doesn’t say so, this technology involves a hybrid style dynamic range processing method, which is capable of enhancing the detail retention and contrast in complex lighting.
Processor Details
Although not related to the camera, the tipster uses the same post to mention the processor in the smartphone.

The X300 Pro will come with the upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor from MediaTek under its hood like the X300 and X300 Pro Mini. On the other hand, the top-end variant X300 Ultra will incorporate a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset under its hood.
As of now, there is no information about the launch details of the X300 series and the Dimensity 9500 processor. However, regarding the X300 lineup, the manufacturer may follow the timing strategy that it adopted for the earlier X200 series, which launched in October last year. If so, we can hope for the Vivo X300 Pro launch with the other three handsets the same time this year.
