The Vivo X300 Ultra will be one of the four smartphones in the X300 lineup.
The other three handsets will be the Vivo X300, X300 Pro and X300 Pro Mini. A new leak has now surfaced, hinting at the camera details found in the X300 Ultra.
Expected Camera Details
The recent leak takes the form of a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the post, the Vivo X300 Ultra will house three huge camera sensors. These sensors will have a resolution of 200 MP. The smartphone is likely to incorporate a custom sensor from Sony as its primary sensor. This sensor will support a continuous optical zoom and multifocal functions.
For the unversed, the Sony Xperia 1 flagship series incorporates the continuous optical zoom functionality. To be specific, the sensor of the Xperia 1s supports multifocal as well as continuous optical zoom functions.

Similarly, the most recent Xperia 1 VII has a lens with a zooming between 85 mm and 170 mm focal length range for its telephoto camera instead of the usually found dual-stage or fixed optical zoom. This means that there will be only one actual moving part and not two zoom sets.
In this case, the telephoto lens will move into the camera module to ensure clarity across various focal lengths. Needless to say, this will be more complicated than hybrid or digital zoom.
If Vivo incorporates this design in the X300 Ultra, it will be the first brand to offer such technology other than Sony in its smartphone. This will indeed mark a new trend towards high-end smartphone technology.

The X200 Ultra broke cover a couple of months back in April 2025. If the manufacturer opts to adopt the same timeline, there is still quite a long way to go before the Vivo X300 sees the light of day.
Moreover, although the tipster has a good track record with leaks, the details must be considered giving the benefit of the doubt as the manufacturer has not confirmed them.
